Maintenance and Repair to Sindh Secretariat Building No-II (Tughlaq House) Karachi

The Provincial Buildings Division-II, Sindh Secretariat Karachi invites bids for the maintenance and repair works of Sindh Secretariat Building No-II (Tughlaq House) located in Karachi. This procurement covers day-to-day complaint handling and repair works to ensure the building's proper functioning and upkeep. Items being procured: - Providing and fixing doors, windows, and ventilators of first class deodar wood frames and teak woodply shutters - Installation of fine quality roller type blinds with steel angle fixing - Fixing approved quality door closers and mortice locks - French polishing on old work - Supplying and fixing bathroom accessories set (7 pieces) - Providing and fixing UPVC pipes and specials including cutting, fitting, and testing - Installation of European type white glazed earthenware wash down W.C. pans with plastic seats and lids - Supplying and fixing C.P. muslim showers with double bib cock and ring pipe - Supplying and fixing wash basin mixtures of superior quality - Fixing door locks (round/handle shape) heavy size - Providing wooden cabinets with shutters and back shelves using laminated lassani sheet and partal wood framework - Fixing commode seat covers of approved quality - Preparing surfaces and fixing wallpaper of required color and design including borders The scope includes civil works, woodwork, plumbing, sanitary fittings, and finishing works as per the detailed bill of quantities. All works shall be executed in accordance with the specifications and under the supervision of the Executive Engineer. The contract duration is three months from the date of commencement. Bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and provide bid security amounting to 5% of the bid value, which will be converted into performance guarantee upon award. The security deposit is 10% of the contract value, including bid security. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from bills. The deadline for submission of bids is 04-09-2026 at 11:30 A.M. Bids will be opened on the same day and time at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No-II, Sindh Secretariat, Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi.
