Tender Description
The Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Karachi is procuring maintenance and repair services for the Sindh Secretariat Building II located in Karachi. This tender focuses on day-to-day compliant electrical works including installation and fixing of circuit breakers, wiring for light and plug points, laying of PVC insulated copper conductors in conduits, and fixing of electrical appliances such as AC electric bracket fans and LED lighting fixtures.
The technical scope covers both scheduled and non-scheduled items such as circuit breakers of various amperages, wiring with PVC insulated wires in surface and recessed conduits, LED tube lights, ceiling fans, LED downlights, and servicing of split AC units of different capacities. The work will be executed at the Sindh Secretariat premises with strict adherence to specifications and quality standards as outlined by the Executive Engineer.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and possess a valid PEC registration where applicable. Experience in electrical maintenance and repair works in government or large institutional buildings is essential. The bid security is set at 5% of the bid amount, which will be converted into a performance guarantee upon successful award. The contract duration is three months from the date of commencement.
Bids must be submitted by 14-05-2026 at 11:00 AM to the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi. The same date and time will be observed for bid opening. Bidders should ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and comply with all codal requirements including Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and CDR submission.
