Maintenance of Small Size Afforestation, Closure to Boost Natural Regeneration, Bigger Size Afforestation, and Assistance Natural Regeneration in Rawalpindi North Forest Division

The Deputy Conservator of Forests Rawalpindi North Forest Division invites electronic bids for multiple forestry maintenance projects under the development scheme for the year 2026-27. The procurement covers four main lots focusing on afforestation and natural regeneration across various sub divisions and compartments within Rawalpindi. Items being procured: - Maintenance of Small Size Afforestation (2nd year maintenance) covering 500 acres - Maintenance of Closure to Boost Natural Regeneration (2nd year maintenance) covering 815 acres - Maintenance of Bigger Size Afforestation (1st year maintenance 25%) covering 3000 plants - Maintenance of Assistance Natural Regeneration (1st year maintenance) covering 1600 acres The technical scope includes digging pits for earth work, planting of chir and broad leaved trees, carriage of plants by vehicles, loading and unloading of plants, spraying for plant strengthening, and sowing of seeds. The work is subdivided into detailed compartments and sites with specific quantities such as 500 acres for small size afforestation and 815 acres for natural regeneration closure. The project requires careful handling of plants including chir, kail, deodar, akhrot, amlook, and robleina species with minimum plant heights specified. Eligibility criteria include registration with FBR, PEC code-10, and experience in forestry or related civil works. Earnest Money in the form of a scanned bid security of 5% of the estimated price must accompany the electronic bids. The bids must be submitted online via the e-procurement system at www.eproc.punjab.gov.pk by 18th August 2023 at 10:00 AM. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM.
