Tender Description
Sukkur IBA University is procuring a Mess Contract for its Community Colleges and Schools located in Sukkur and other associated cities in Sindh. This contract covers the provision of quality meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner for boarding students and lunch for day scholars at multiple IBA Community Colleges and Public Schools such as Ubauro, Khairpur, Dadu, Larkana, Jacobabad, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroze, and Sukkur. The estimated cost of this contract is **PKR 18.3 Million** for one year, excluding summer and winter vacations and Eid holidays.
The scope includes managing mess halls, kitchens, crockery, and furniture where available, or arranging these facilities independently where not provided. The menu is fixed and includes items such as Basmati rice, Channa and Mong daal, Chicken Karahi, Biryani, Chapatti, Paratha, Halwa, Chola, and fresh salad. The contract requires strict adherence to quality, quantity, freshness, timeliness, and hygiene standards. The contract period is initially one year with the possibility of extension for an additional year based on satisfactory performance.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and Sales Tax Department or Sindh Revenue Board, have a clean record with no blacklisting, and demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience. They must also provide an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no blacklisting and submit a bid security of 2% of the estimated cost. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by the specified deadline. The technical bid should include all required documents, and the financial bid must attach the bid security.
The submission deadline and bid opening dates are clearly stated in the tender documents. Bidders are advised to visit the respective colleges/schools to inspect available facilities before quoting. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all pages of the bidding documents are complete and signed by authorized persons to avoid rejection. Also, timely submission through EPADS is mandatory as manual bids will not be accepted.
