Tender Description
The Health and Population Department of the Government of Punjab Lahore is procuring a framework contract for Multi-Protocol Label Switching and Internet Connectivity specifically for the Health Information and Service Delivery Unit (HISDU). This procurement is aimed at enhancing the digital infrastructure and connectivity for health service delivery in Lahore.
The technical scope includes the supply and installation of advanced networking equipment and internet connectivity solutions that support multi-protocol label switching technology. This will ensure efficient, secure, and high-speed data transmission for health information systems. The contract covers the provision of hardware, software, and related services necessary for the implementation and maintenance of the network.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and ATL, and have relevant experience in IT and telecommunication services, particularly in health sector projects. Firms should be familiar with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and capable of submitting bids electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS). The bidding process follows a single stage, two envelope procedure requiring separate technical and financial bids.
The submission deadline is strictly by 11:00 AM on 20th July 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bidders are advised to download bidding documents from the department’s official website or the PPRA portal and ensure timely online submission. Manual bids will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to upload their bids well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues on the E-PADS portal. Ensuring compliance with all technical and financial bid requirements and having a valid EPADS registration will smooth the evaluation process and increase chances of success.
