Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement and up-gradation of 10 navigation aids by replacing vintage NDB equipment in Karachi under the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The project involves supplying modern navigation equipment to enhance airport safety and operational efficiency. The scope includes delivery in two phases: the first within 150 days of contract signing and the second within 90 days after intimation from PAA. Bidders must comply with technical specifications and provide FAT and FAT training services as part of the contract.
The equipment will be delivered to the Logistics Center (South) at JIAP Karachi. This procurement requires bidders to submit both electronic bids via the PPRA EPADS portal and physical sealed envelopes. The technical bid must include original bid security, while a copy must accompany the financial bid. The evaluation will be based on quality and cost scoring, ensuring compliance with all mandatory technical requirements. The contract includes a warranty period and performance bond submission.
Bidders should ensure they hold a valid NTN certificate and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR with 100% compliance for sales tax. PEC category requirements and FBR registration must be met for the fiscal year 2025-26. The bid validity period is 180 days from the technical bid opening date. Original bid security must be submitted with the technical proposal, and failure to comply will result in rejection.
The submission deadline is on the 18th of March, 2026, with bid opening scheduled at 11:00 AM at the Logistics Center (South), JIAP Karachi. Bidders must submit bids electronically and physically before the deadline to be considered.
