Operation & Servicing / Maintenance of Five Thyseen and Three Hyundai Passenger Lifts at Civic Centre Buildings Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi

Karachi Development Authority (KDA) invites bids for the Operation & Servicing / Maintenance of Five (05) Thyseen Passenger Lifts and Three (03) Hyundai Passenger Lifts installed at Civic Centre Buildings, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This tender is for a Rate Running Annual Contract covering comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and operation of the lifts to ensure smooth functioning. Items being procured: - Monthly servicing & maintenance of 5 Thyseen lifts (3 from ground to 10th floor, 2 from ground to 6th floor) including lubricants, greases, engine oil, and all materials required - Monthly servicing & maintenance of 3 Hyundai lifts from ground to 10th floor including all necessary materials - Deployment of one technician per machine room for daily operation from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Supply and fixing of spare parts including contactors, inverter 18.5 KW or equivalent, CPU boards, main motor encoder assembly, door drives, wire ropes, printed card board repairing, door inverter, rotary encoder, and other specified components The scope includes all materials, labor, and technical expertise required for the maintenance and operation of the lifts at the Civic Centre Complex. Bidders must have valid PEC registration in relevant categories (C-6, ME-06), NTN and SRB registration, and demonstrate relevant experience with at least one work of 80% of the estimated cost or two works of 50% each executed in the last 3 years. An earnest money (Bid Security) of Rs. 350,000 and tender fee of Rs. 3,000 in the form of Pay Order in favor of Karachi Development Authority must accompany the bid. Bids are to be submitted electronically via the SPPRA E-PAD portal before 18 November 2026 at 2:30 PM. Technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 3:00 PM in Room #406, 4th Floor, Civic Centre Complex, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Original bid security and tender fee must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the same office before bid opening. The contract duration is 12 months with a penalty of Rs. 3,000 per day for delay. Bid validity is 90 days extendable as per SPPRA rules. The bid evaluation will follow the Single Stage One Envelope system as per SPPRA guidelines.
