This tender invites qualified contractors in Karachi to undertake the laying, fixing, and maintenance of Optical Fiber Cable Network under the jurisdiction of NTC Karachi Directorate. Issued by the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), it covers a comprehensive scope including installation of fiber optic cables, joint enclosures, cabinets, and related civil works.
The work involves excavation, trenching, cable laying, splicing, and installation of network access points and fiber distribution terminals across Karachi. Contractors must handle materials such as HDPE pipes, GI pipes, warning tapes, and RCC bases for cabinets. The project demands technical expertise in fiber optic network installation and maintenance, with strict adherence to NTC specifications and timelines. Bidders must hold valid PEC registration with relevant codes EE07 and EE08, be active taxpayers, and have at least three years of experience in optical fiber cable projects. Compliance with FBR and ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26 is mandatory. Firms must not have any links with Israel or India and should provide all necessary documentation including financial statements and technical staff resumes. The tender security is 2% of the bid value, and performance security of PKR 1,000,000 is required upon award.
