Tender Description
**Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad** invites bids from reputable and experienced firms through the PPRA e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) 2.0. The procurement covers recurring medical, laboratory, stationery, printing and pharmaceutical requirements for PIMS and supported patient programmes.
Mandatory tender lots are: Sr. 1, supply of lab kits, chemicals, reagents and disposable items for the Pathology Department on annual contract for financial year 2026–2027; Sr. 2, supply of items required for angiography and angioplasty procedures for PIMS, the Sehat Sahulat Program and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal for two years; Sr. 3, supply of stationery store items for financial year 2026–2027; Sr. 4, supply of printing hospital material for financial year 2026–2027; and Sr. 5, prequalification of firms for bulk purchase and supply of drugs and medicines to PIMS and SSP-funded patients for two years.
Bidders should review the relevant Standard Bidding Documents and technical schedules for specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, quality standards, warranty or shelf-life conditions and contract duration. Interested firms must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Federal Board of Revenue Active Taxpayers List for Sales Tax. The required original CDR or bid security, undertaking on judicial paper and tender receipt must comply with the applicable schedule. The CDR value is as specified in the SBDs.
A non-refundable tender fee of **Rs. 2,000 per tender** is payable. Tender schedules will be issued until **28 August 2026 at 12:00 noon**. Bids must be uploaded through EPADS 2.0, while the original CDR, undertaking and tender receipt must reach the tender box at Purchase Department, PIMS, G-8/3, Islamabad, by **29 August 2026 at 11:00 AM**. Online bids will open at **11:30 AM on 29 August 2026**. Manual bids will not be accepted.
Practical tip: obtain the tender receipt after purchase-department vetting, then confirm that every electronic attachment and original security document matches the applicable lot and SBD checklist.
