Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is inviting sealed bids for the procurement of the PMU-36/2026-27 110V DC Battery Bank under tender reference P90349. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The bidding process will follow the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Items being procured:
- 110V DC Battery Bank, Quantity: 3 sets, Delivery Location: 132KV MEPCO Battery Energy Warehouse, Khanewal Road, Multan, Delivery Schedule: 90 Days
The technical specifications conform to NTDC Specification P-132:2009 (Amended to date). Bidders must be registered with FBR, have valid ATL status, and demonstrate relevant experience and compliance with technical and financial criteria. Bid security must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. The warranty period for the battery bank is 2 years.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, September 7, 2026 at 11:15 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The technical bid will be opened on the same day at 11:45 AM. Original bid security must be physically submitted to the office of Chief Engineer (Development), PMU MEPCO, Khanewal Road, Multan before the bid submission deadline.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all eligibility and qualification criteria. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
