Pre-Qualification for Construction and Maintenance Works at HIT Taxila Cantt by Military Engineer Services

Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors/firms for various construction and maintenance works at HIT Taxila Cantt for the financial year 2026-27. The works include reconstruction, rehabilitation, repair, maintenance, and upgradation of buildings, electrical systems, and other infrastructure within the HIT Taxila Cantt area. Items being procured: - Reconstruction of boundary wall of CMES Office (355 Rft) - Rehabilitation of 32 Men Barrack of MES Accommodation and Miscellaneous Office Works - Repair and maintenance of Tuff Paver and new gate with boundary wall - Construction of new WT-21 and retaining wall - Technical constructions for Zone A, B, C - Construction of 2 small bridges/culverts - Construction of 1 guard room at Gate No. 05 - Upgradation of electric system in turret, hull and assembly shop - Technical constructions for B&R, E&M, W/S and F&S - Repair/replacement of 1 HT cable shop 5 - Replacement of faulty building lights and production shops - Repair of 2 washrooms in shed 19 - Internal distemper and painting including gates in shed 19 - Repair of steel gates quantity 2 - Repair/replacement of window and ventilator glasses - Construction of shed of MT Shed (1500 sqft) - Miscellaneous works for B&R, E&M, W&S and F&S - Technical constructions for zonal offices Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi - DC work for B&R Sub Division - Auction of store for E&M, B&R, W/S and F&S The scope covers civil, electrical, and structural works at various locations within HIT Taxila Cantt. Contractors must have MES registration in categories A, B, C, D, or E and submit their applications with complete credentials and tender documents by 21 August 2026. Tender documents will be issued to qualified firms by 28 August 2026. The tenders must be received by 1130 hours on 4 September 2026 and will be opened at 1200 hours the same day. Applicants must provide proof of experience, bank statements, tools and plants details, and previous work details. Firms not on the approved MES list must deposit 2% earnest money in the form of FDR. Failure to provide required documents or earnest money will result in disqualification. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids in accordance with MES requirements and ensure timely submission to avoid rejection. Early submission and thorough documentation will improve chances of qualification.
