Tender Description
Applications are invited for the prequalification of contractors and firms for the construction of a residential high rise building and development of infrastructure in Karachi. The scope includes the design and build of a high rise building (2B+G+19) and designing infrastructure development of the 9.1 Acre site.
Items being procured:
- Design and Build of High Rise Building (2B+G+19)
- Designing of Infrastructure Development of the 9.1 Acre
The project requires firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in C-A category only, with specialization codes e.g. BC03/CE10 i, iv/ EE11/ ME02/ ME03, essential for design and build of high rise buildings and infrastructure development. Joint ventures between two Pakistani firms in the same specialization are not allowed. However, civil contractors/firms not registered as architects may associate with consultants registered with PEC under required codes such as 1201, 0531, 0532, and PCATP in Category A-1 and P-3 (at least).
Applicants must provide an original and latest undertaking or affidavit on judicial paper confirming that neither the contractor/firm nor its employees have been blacklisted by any government, semi-government, autonomous, or state-owned organization, and no related cases are under trial. Firms must be on the ATL of FBR and registered with the Income Tax Department having a National Tax Number (NTN).
Interested contractors/firms meeting these conditions should send their Expression of Interest (EOI) to housingschemetender@gmail.com within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the due date and time will not be considered. The employer reserves the right to disqualify any firm or contractor if information submitted is found false or materially inaccurate. The employer also reserves the right to extend deadlines, cancel, or reject any or all proposals prior to acceptance as per PPRA rules.
Bidders are advised to ensure their PEC registration and FBR ATL status are current and to submit all required documents timely to avoid disqualification. This is a significant opportunity for firms specializing in high rise construction and infrastructure development in Karachi.
