Pre-qualification for Procurement of Poultry Feeds

The Poultry Research Institute Punjab Rawalpindi invites applications for pre-qualification of firms specializing in poultry feed manufacturing and authorized dealers across Punjab. This procurement is specifically for supplying poultry feeds to various government poultry farms located in cities including Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dina, Gujrat, Attock, Mianwali, Bahawalnagar, and Bhakkar among others. The items being procured are poultry feeds in the form of crumbs and pellets, with an estimated quantity of approximately 300,000 bags, each weighing 50 kg. Items being procured: - Poultry Feeds (crumbs and pellets) approx. 300,000 bags (50 kg each) The procurement will be conducted under the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2014 (amended) and PPRA Act 2009. The feeds will be supplied on F.O.R (Freight On Road) basis to government poultry farms under the administrative control of the Directorate of Poultry Research Institute Rawalpindi for the financial year 2026-27. Firms must demonstrate good reputation, relevant experience, past performance, and capabilities related to feed plant operations and storage facilities. Financial position and valid taxation documents including registration with Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax authorities are mandatory for pre-qualification. Bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) by 05-08-2026 at 11:00 AM, with the opening of bids on the same day at 11:30 AM. The institute will not be responsible for any costs or expenses related to bid preparation or electronic submission. All taxes will be applicable as per Punjab government rules. The pre-qualification documents can be downloaded free of cost from the PPRA and Punjab e-Procurement websites. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your firm’s FBR and Punjab Sales Tax registrations are active and up to date before submission, and carefully prepare your technical proposal to highlight your feed plant capacity and storage facilities, as only technical proposals will be considered for pre-qualification.
