Pre-Qualification of Workshops for Repair and Maintenance of Vehicles, Machinery, Furniture, and IT Equipment

The Ministry of Law and Justice Islamabad invites pre-qualification applications from workshops, firms, and vendors registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR. The firms must have their own offices, stock, manpower, and expertise in repair and maintenance services for the Financial Year 2026-2027. The office or workshop must be located in Islamabad as per PPRA Rules 2004. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance of official vehicles of the Ministry (Bid Security Rs.300,000) - Repair and maintenance of office machinery and equipment including air-conditioners, photocopiers, telephone exchange, electric fans, heaters, water dispensers, electric water coolers (Bid Security Rs.300,000) - Repair and maintenance of office furniture and fixtures (Bid Security Rs.200,000) - Repair and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and IT equipment including CPUs, printers, projectors, telephone exchange, laptops, scanners, servers, UT firewalls, routers, networking devices (Bid Security Rs.150,000) - Purchase, petty purchase, repair, and maintenance including non-tender items up to Rs.500,000 (Bid Security Rs.50,000) The technical scope covers comprehensive repair and maintenance services for vehicles, machinery, furniture, and IT equipment at the Ministry premises located in S-Block, Pakistan Secretariat, Islamabad. The firms must have a minimum of three years of technical experience in their respective fields. Physical verification of workshops will be conducted after tender opening, and firms not found will be disqualified. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments, ATL status, and an affidavit on stamp paper worth Rs.200 confirming no blacklisting or disputes with any government organization. Earnest money must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Call Deposit in favor of Section Officer (General), Ministry of Law and Justice. The submission deadline is 13th August 2026 at 11:00 hours, with bid opening at 11:30 hours on the same day in Committee Room, 3rd Floor, S-Block, Ministry of Law and Justice, Pakistan Secretariat, Islamabad. Bidders must submit documents via the e-Procurement portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk) and physically submit the hard copy of bid security. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your workshop is fully operational and accessible for physical verification as non-compliance will lead to cancellation. Also, deputing a full-time representative for round-the-clock repair and maintenance services during the contract period is mandatory to avoid penalties or blacklisting.
