Pre-qualification for supply of family, winterized and shelter tents

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, is seeking to pre-qualify firms for the supply of family tents, winterized tents, and shelter tents for the calendar years 2026 and 2027. This procurement is specific to Islamabad and aims to ensure timely delivery of tents across Pakistan as per NDMA's approved technical specifications and quality standards. The scope includes supply of tents with detailed technical requirements such as size, material specifications, poles, pegs, ropes, and packing standards. The tents must meet rigorous quality standards including waterproofing, rot proofing, and reinforced stitching. Eligible bidders must be manufacturers or authorized distributors registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Firms must have at least 10 years of operation, valid registration with income and sales tax departments, and relevant experience supplying to UN agencies, Pakistan Army, or government agencies with contracts of at least PKR 300 million each. Submission of samples for each tent category is mandatory along with a bid security of Rs. 5.0 Million in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft. The tender fee is PKR 50,000 non-refundable. Bids must be submitted online via https://eprocure.gov.pk by 1100 hours on 4th May 2026. Samples must be delivered physically to the Director (Procurement), NDMA Headquarters, Main Murree Road, Islamabad before the closing date. The technical bid will be opened at 1130 hours on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all mandatory documents including notarized affidavits, factory ownership, machinery lists, and proof of production capacity are complete and verifiable to avoid disqualification. Also, submitting samples timely is critical as bids without samples will be rejected.
