Procurement of 11kV and 132kV Capacitor Cells

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) invites bids for the procurement of 11kV and 132kV Capacitor Cells under the Asian Development Bank funded Power Distribution Strengthening Project. This procurement is specifically for the supply of 11kV (200kVAR) and 132kV (400kVAR) capacitor cells to be delivered to Lahore, Punjab. Items being procured: - 2,860 units of 11kV (200kVAR) Capacitor Cells - 200 units of 132kV (400kVAR) Capacitor Cells The technical scope includes the supply of high-quality capacitor cells designed for power distribution enhancement. The materials must meet the specifications outlined in the bidding documents and be suitable for installation at 132kV Qartaba Grid Station and other LESCO facilities. Bidders must have at least five years of design and manufacturing experience with similar or higher rated goods. They should have supplied at least 80% of the quantities in similar contracts over the last ten years, with goods operational for a minimum of two years. Financial soundness is mandatory, supported by audited financial statements for the last three years demonstrating positive net worth and adequate liquidity. The bidding documents can be obtained from the Office of the Chief Engineer (Development), LESCO Project Management Unit, 132kV Qartaba Grid Station, Bahawalpur Road, Mozang, Lahore. The nonrefundable fee for the documents is PKR 5,000 or USD equivalent, payable via cashier's cheque or demand draft. Documents may be collected in person or sent by registered post or courier with additional charges. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the address above by 17 August 2026 at 11:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time, accompanied by the required Bid Security. Late submissions will be rejected. Bids will be opened promptly after the deadline in the presence of bidders' representatives.
