Tender Description
The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) invites sealed bids for the procurement of 11kV Dropout Cutout (S/I) under the contract reference P110284 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to be executed through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using the Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- Lot #01: 11kV Dropout Cutout (S/I), Quantity: 5000 units, Delivery Schedule: 45-90 Days, Warranty: 24 Months
- Lot #02: 11kV Dropout Cutout (S/I), Quantity: 5000 units, Delivery Schedule: 45-90 Days, Warranty: 24 Months
- Lot #03: 11kV Dropout Cutout (S/I), Quantity: 5000 units, Delivery Schedule: 45-90 Days, Warranty: 24 Months
The items are to be delivered to Regional Store PESCO Nowshera, Field Store PESCO, Peshawar, Bannu & Chakdara. The technical specifications conform to WAPDA PPMC/NTDC Specification No. P-6:76 (Amended to date). Eligible bidders must provide valid prototype approval or undertake to provide fresh valid prototype approval within the delivery schedule. Bidders must also be registered with FBR for Income Tax and Sales Tax, not blacklisted, and have at least one purchase order with DISCOs or other WAPDA formations along with satisfactory performance certificates.
Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The original bid security must be submitted physically to Room # 313, PESCO HQ, Peshawar before the deadline. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents and comply with all requirements including bid security, bid validity of 120 days, and submission of all required documents.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submission of all required documents including bid security in original to avoid disqualification. Bidders should also prepare for joint inspection and testing as per NTDC/WAPDA/PPMC specifications, with testing charges borne by the bidder.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers of electrical insulators to engage with PESCO in Peshawar and surrounding areas under transparent and regulated public procurement rules.
