Procurement of 45' Long HT Steel Structures

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is procuring 45-foot long HT Steel Structures for delivery to its regional stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and involves supply of 300 units of HT steel structures conforming to DDS-78:2008 specifications (amended to-date). The procurement is managed by MEPCO's Assistant Manager Procurement at MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan. The technical scope includes supply of HT steel structures suitable for utility poles, with delivery scheduled in three phases: 30% within 60 days, 30% within 90 days, and the remaining 40% within 120 days or earlier. The price quoted must be fixed, inclusive of all taxes, duties, and 0.5% inspection charges but exclusive of GST. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises by the Chief Engineer (M.I) Lahore or authorized representatives along with MEPCO officials. Visual inspection and acceptance at regional stores will precede issuance of Goods Receipt Notes. Eligible bidders must comply with PEC registration, be on the active tax payer list of FBR, and not be blacklisted by WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, or NTDC. Experience with MEPCO or other DISCOs is required, and bidders must submit all required documents including bid security, technical data, and integrity pact. The bid validity period is 120 days from the date of opening. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 10:45 AM, with bid opening at 11:15 AM the same day. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid security must be physically submitted to MEPCO Complex before the deadline. Performance security of 5% of contract price is required within 14 days of Letter of Intent issuance. Payment will be made in PKR against actual invoices and delivery documents. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed.
