Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is inviting sealed bids for the procurement of 630 KVA Pad Mounted Transformers under tender reference P93661. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The procurement will be executed via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0, where all bids must be submitted electronically. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
Items being procured:
- 630 KVA Pad Mounted Transformers, Quantity: 20 units, Delivery Location: IESCO Regional Store, Islamabad, Delivery Period: Full quantity within 60 days from the date of issuance of Purchase Order.
The transformers must comply with NTDC Specifications DDS-71:2004 & DDS-84:2020 (with Amendment-5). Inspection will be conducted jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad at the manufacturer's premises. The supplier must provide a warranty for 24 months from the date of completion of supply. Bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee is mandatory. Bidders must be registered and meet eligibility criteria including financial capacity, manufacturing experience, and prior supply performance.
The bid submission deadline is Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day on EPADS v2.0. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 to participate. The procuring agency reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity by up to 15% at the time of contract award. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated based on compliance and lowest evaluated cost.
