Tender Description
The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Karachi is procuring a comprehensive range of medical and technical equipment under the PSDF Project titled Strengthening of Points of Entry and Border Health Services - Pakistan. This procurement includes ambulances, infrared thermal scanners, rapid food and water testing equipment, industrial reverse osmosis water filtration plants, and solar power systems. The scope covers supply, installation, and commissioning where applicable, particularly for solar power systems.
Bidders must be eligible manufacturers, importers, authorized dealers, or distributors with valid FBR registration and ATL status. Experience in supplying similar medical and technical equipment is essential. The procurement follows the Single Stage - Two Envelope Procedure under Rule 36(b) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Technical bids will be opened on the submission date, followed by financial bids of technically responsive bidders.
The submission deadline is 10th July 2026 by 1:00 PM at the office of the Project Director, Border Health Services - Pakistan, Karachi. Bids must be submitted both through EPADS and in hard copy. Earnest Money and CDR requirements will be detailed in the bidding documents available on EPADS and PPRA websites.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure complete compliance with the technical specifications and submission requirements to avoid disqualification at the technical evaluation stage. Early preparation of documents and site visit for installation feasibility of solar power systems is recommended to enhance bid competitiveness.
