Procurement of Equipment and Machinery for Varietal Development of Wheat through Speed Breeding

The Directorate General, Agriculture Research Sindh, Tandojam, under the Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department, Government of Sindh, invites sealed bids for the procurement of equipment and machinery for the Varietal Development of Wheat through Speed Breeding project for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is funded by the Public Fund under the ADP Scheme and aims to enhance wheat varietal development using advanced speed breeding techniques. Items being procured: - Electric Motorcycle (Model PE-70 LP) with 1500 Watt BLDC motor - Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery - Range of 100 KM - Top Speed of 60 km/h - Automatic Transmission - Charging Time of 3 Hours The scope includes supply, delivery, and installation of the equipment at the Directorate General, Agriculture Research Sindh, Tandojam. Bidders must ensure compliance with the technical specifications and provide warranty, spare parts availability, and after-sales service as per the bidding documents. The delivery schedule requires completion within one month from the contract award date, including installation and training if required. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC having relevant categories and codes, registered taxpayers with valid income tax, sales tax, professional tax or exemption certificates, and Sindh Revenue Board certificates if applicable. Experience of at least three years in similar public sector procurements with relevant references and financial stability is mandatory. Bid security of PKR 25,000 must be submitted in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of Director Tech-II, Agriculture Research Sindh, Tandojam. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk) by 27-08-2026 up to 11:00 AM. Technical proposals will be opened publicly on the same day at 11:30 AM in the Committee Room of the Directorate General, Agriculture Research Sindh, Tandojam. Financial proposals of only technically responsive bidders will be opened subsequently.
