Tender Description
The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) Lahore is procuring IT equipment under the project titled 'Bananas in Pakistan's Bioeconomy: Transforming Waste into Textile' in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), UN. This procurement is specific to Lahore and aims to equip the Gender & Sustainability Division with the latest IT hardware to support project activities.
The technical scope includes supply of laptops with latest processors, tablets with pen and 5G connectivity, conference equipment including a 55-inch smart LED display and camera, printers capable of duplex printing for A4 and A3 sizes, and multifunctional photocopiers. All equipment must have a minimum one-year onsite warranty and meet detailed technical specifications such as RAM, storage, display quality, and connectivity options.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the appropriate government authority, possess valid NTN and GST registration, and be on the Active Taxpayers List of the FBR. They must also be authorized dealers or suppliers of the original manufacturers of the offered products. Submission of original Bid Security to SMEDA is mandatory. Technical bids will be evaluated on company establishment duration, relevant experience, financial strength, office location, and warranty commitment. Bidders must score at least 70% in technical evaluation to be considered responsive.
