The Directorate General Procurement (Army) located near 502 Central Base Workshop EME, Main Adyala Road Rawalpindi invites sealed tenders from reputable firms possessing NTN certificates for the supply of specific rechargeable battery items. Items being procured: - Procurement of Li-ION Rechargeable Cell, 10.8 V, 5000mAh, Applicability-RBS-70 Missile (Qty 832 Nos) - Battery Li-Ion 6x Cell Pack Rechargeable (Qty 680 Nos) The technical scope includes supply of high-quality lithium-ion rechargeable cells and battery packs suitable for military applications, specifically for the RBS-70 missile system. The delivery period for both items is six months. Eligibility criteria require firms to provide photocopies of registration certificates issued by the Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), Sales Tax Department registration, NTN certificate, proof of good standing, financial capability undertakings, attested bank statements for the last year, attested CNIC of the Managing Director, and certificates confirming the firm is not blacklisted or a defaulter. Experience details with government or semi-government organizations and proof of property/assets are also mandatory. Non-manufacturing firms or agents must provide verifiable certificates of original manufacturer or agency agreements. Bid security of 5% of the quoted value (maximum Rs. 1 million) must be attached as earnest money through bank draft or pay order in favor of CMA (DP) Rawalpindi. The validity of the offer is 120 days from the date of commercial offer opening. A performance bank guarantee of 10% of the contract value is required within 30 days of contract signing. Tender documents can be obtained from DGP (Army) upon fulfilling the above requirements. The tender opening will take place in the tender room of DGP (Army) in the presence of firm representatives. The last date for collection of tender documents is 26 August 2026.
