Tender Description

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Tarbela Dam Project located in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is procuring a comprehensive range of materials required for soil, cement, concrete, electronic laboratories, monitoring, and hardware for site and TDMO offices for the financial year 2025-26. This procurement is critical for ongoing and upcoming civil and technical works at the Tarbela site, ensuring quality and timely availability of essential construction and laboratory materials. The technical scope includes supply of soil testing materials, cement, concrete additives, electronic laboratory equipment, monitoring devices, and various hardware items necessary for site operations and office use. Bidders must be Original Manufacturers, Authorized Distributors, or General Order Suppliers with valid registration on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and possess a valid Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN). Experience in supplying similar materials to large-scale infrastructure projects will be advantageous. The tender follows a single stage one envelope procedure with electronic bidding through the EPADS platform only. Manual bids will not be accepted. The deadline for submission is 28th April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of the Director (C&P) Tarbela Dam Project. A bid security of PKR 25,000 in the form of a CDR must be uploaded with the bid and the original submitted before the deadline. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and familiarity with the EPADS electronic bidding system to avoid last-minute technical issues. Uploading all required documents, especially the bid security CDR, correctly and before the deadline is crucial to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers with relevant credentials to engage with one of Pakistan's largest hydroelectric projects and contribute to its continued success.
