Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi is procuring Microsoft Licenses (MECM) for its IT infrastructure at PSO House, Clifton. This procurement involves the supply of 500 Microsoft MECM CALs licenses with 3 years Software Assurance. The scope includes delivery and replacement of any defective licenses within two weeks of delivery at PSO House.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and hold a valid NTN/STN. The bidding procedure is single stage with two envelopes: Technical Bid and Commercial Bid, which must be submitted separately and sealed. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivery within four weeks of purchase order issuance. Price quotations should be in USD, with payment made in PKR as per the State Bank of Pakistan exchange rate on delivery date.
The tender emphasizes strict compliance with PSO's terms, including disqualification for any forged documents or attempts to influence the evaluation process. The submission deadline is 6th May 2026 at 2:15 PM, with bids to be delivered to the 2nd Floor, PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all correspondence is conducted through the nominated representative's email as per instructions, and to prepare earnest money and CDR documents carefully to avoid disqualification. Timely submission of both technical and financial proposals in separate envelopes is critical to meet PSO's evaluation criteria and avoid rejection.
