Tender Description
The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) Karachi is procuring the major overhaul and core exchange of the Allison 250-B17C Turboprop Engine, serial number CAE-880787, used in the BN-2T Defender Aircraft. This procurement is critical to maintain operational readiness and ensure the engine meets required service life and performance standards. The scope includes complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection, non-destructive testing, replacement of main build kits, accessories, and mandatory inspections as per OEM standards. The overhaul will be conducted by OEM or OEM Authorized Maintenance Centre (AMC) with FAA/EASA certification. Firms must have at least two years of experience in aviation component procurement and overhaul, with proven track record and necessary licenses. The contract includes detailed documentation, airworthiness certificates, and warranty for at least one year or 500 hours, whichever is earlier. The tender requires submission of technical and commercial bids in separate sealed envelopes, with earnest money and tender fee as per PPRA rules. The closing date for submission is **2025-07-31 23:59:59**. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed technical specifications and eligibility criteria. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure a site visit and thorough understanding of the engine condition and overhaul requirements before quoting, as no adjustments will be entertained post submission. The payment will be processed through Controller of Naval Accounts Karachi after successful completion and acceptance of work.
