Procurement of Public Announcement System, High-Performance Compute Server, and 120KVA UPS and WAP for Online Examination Building

Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi is inviting e-bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) from manufacturers or their authorized agents, distributors, and firms. The procurement is for supply of goods and ancillary services at the university. Items being procured: - Public Announcement System (DDP Basis, excluding GST) - High-Performance Compute Server with Storage, Network Switches, Next Generation Firewall, and Endpoint Protection Threat Detection & Response (CNF/DDP Basis, excluding GST) - 120KVA UPS and WAP for Online Examination Building (CNF/DDP Basis, excluding GST) The procurement involves advanced electronic and electrical equipment for the university’s infrastructure. The Public Announcement System is intended for campus-wide communication. The compute server and network equipment will enhance the university’s IT capabilities, including security with next-generation firewall and endpoint protection. The 120KVA UPS and Wireless Access Points are for the Online Examination Building, ensuring reliable power and connectivity. Bidders must be registered on the FBR/SRB List of Active Taxpayers for income tax and GST/SST as applicable. The procurement follows the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure under Rule 46(1) of SPP Rules 2010. Technical and financial bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS only; manual bids will not be entertained. The tender fee is Rs. 2,000 non-refundable, and bid security is required as per the estimated cost percentages detailed in the bidding documents.
