Procurement of PMU-27/2026-27 Rail Conductor by MEPCO Multan

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids for the procurement of Rail Conductors under the project PMU-27/2026-27 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Manager Procurement (PMU) MEPCO located at Khanewal Road, Multan. Bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 to participate. Items being procured: - Rail Conductors, Quantity: 350 Km The Rail Conductors must conform to the NTDC/WAPDA P-50:1988 specifications (amended to date). The delivery schedule is 90 days from the contract date. The technical scope includes supply of conductors suitable for 132KV MEPCO network with a warranty period of 2 years. Bidders must provide valid type test reports from accredited laboratories or prototype approval from NTDC for transmission line towers and conductors. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed at least two contracts of similar or higher rating in the last 10 years, with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience. The offered material should have been in satisfactory operation for at least 3 years with supporting operational certificates. Bidders must be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayer List, and not blacklisted. Bid security must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, August 31, 2026 at 10:15 AM. Original bid security must be submitted physically to the office of Chief Engineer (Development), PMU MEPCO, Khanewal Road, Multan before the deadline. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 10:45 AM via EPADS. Manual submissions are not accepted.
