Procurement of School Furniture for ECE Classrooms under STEP-B

The Project Management Unit of the Balochistan Education Support Programme (PMU-BESP) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of school furniture specifically for Early Childhood Education (ECE) classrooms under the System Transformation of Early Education Project – Balochistan (STEP-B). This project is funded by the Government of Balochistan through the Government of Pakistan with support from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and The World Bank. Items being procured: - School furniture for 300 ECE classrooms The procurement aims to enhance educational facilities by providing appropriate furniture to support early childhood learning environments across 300 schools. Bidders must comply with the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing covering Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services. Interested bidders can obtain further information and inspect bidding documents at the PMU-BESP office during working hours from 10:00 to 17:00. The bidding documents are available for purchase upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 2,000 in cash. Documents can be collected by hand or requested via email. Bids must be delivered by 10:00 AM on 23rd November 2026 to the PMU-BESP office at 74-A Chaman Housing Scheme Airport Road Quetta. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives. A bid security of PKR 2,100,000 in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Bank Guarantee in favor of Project Director, PMU-BESP, GoB is mandatory. Bidders must also comply with the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure requirements as per the Contract Award Notice.
