Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila, located in Taxila, Punjab, is inviting bids for the procurement of two major lifting equipment items for its New Energy Vehicle Facility (NEVF). The procurement includes 2 Nos of Scissor Lifts and 1 No of Fork Lifter with a capacity of 3-3.5 tons, both on FOR basis. This tender is issued under the bid numbers 5041/2026-27/IT-6608/FOR-A/NEVF/SCM for Scissor Lifts and 2871/IT-7622/26-27/NEVF/FOR (B)/SCM for Fork Lifters.
Items being procured:
- Scissor Lifts (Qty: 2 Nos) with specifications including working height minimum 50 ft, lifting capacity 300-350 kg, manual/hydraulic outriggers, AC/DC power options, steel cage bucket, electrically/hydraulically operated, seamless box type scissor links, deep-cycle tubular/AGM/Gel batteries, and emergency lowering function.
- Fork Lifter (Qty: 1 No) with diesel power, load capacity 3000-3500 kg, pneumatic tires, maximum fork height 3000-6000 mm, tilt angle 6° forward and 12° backward, hydraulic power steering, and engine brands including Komatsu, Cummins, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Perkins, Hyundai.
The technical scope covers delivery within 3 months after contract signing, with detailed technical specifications and performance parameters as per annexures. The Scissor Lifts must meet EU Machinery Directive EN280 standards and include safety features such as tilt sensors, emergency stops, and overload protection. The Fork Lifter must have hydraulic brakes, mechanical parking brake, and meet specified load and performance criteria.
Eligibility criteria require firms to possess NTN certificates, valid registration with HIT or relevant government bodies, and to submit audited financial reports for the last three financial years. Firms must not be blacklisted or under investigation and must provide a postal order of Rs 2000/- with the technical bid. Bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order is mandatory.
