Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms and authorized distributors to supply spare parts and restore the Radio Wireless System installed at the WAPDA GB Power Channel located in Barotha-Attock, Punjab. The procurement is managed by the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), GB Power Complex, and falls under the Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment category. The project requires a turnkey fixed cost supply basis with a contract completion period of 90 days from the issuance of the work order.
The scope involves sourcing high-quality spare parts and executing restoration works on the existing radio wireless communication system critical for operational efficiency at the power complex. The site in Barotha-Attock presents logistical and technical challenges, including ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and maintaining uninterrupted communication during restoration. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Participants should ensure compliance with PEC registration and FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to verify the PEC category requirements and maintain valid registration to avoid disqualification. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is set at PKR 296,000 in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) payable to the Chief Engineer (Power) GB, WAPDA Power Complex Barotha-Attock.
The submission deadline is set for 30th April 2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic bids to be submitted exclusively via the EPADs portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk). Bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM in the Conference Room of the Main Office Building at GB Power Complex Colony Barotha-Attock. Manual bids will not be accepted.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to submit the original Bid Security (CDR) to the Chief Engineer (Power) GB office before the closing time, as failure to do so often leads to bid rejection. Also, carefully review the EPADs portal for any addenda or clarifications issued before the deadline.
