Tender Description
The Material Management Directorate of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of T-76 Lineman Uniform ALM for its line staff. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to supply 1500 sets of uniform suits meeting the detailed technical specifications provided by IESCO. Items being procured:
- 1500 sets of Lineman Uniform ALM (Shirt and Trousers)
The uniforms must conform to strict fabric and stitching standards including 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend, twill 3/1 weave, specific warp and pick counts, color fastness, tensile and tear strength, and fire retardant properties as per BS EN ISO 15025 standards. The trousers feature elastic waist belts, multiple pockets with Velcro and chalk buttons, and reflective tapes. The shirts include waist pockets with Velcro, embroidered IESCO logos, and reflective tapes on cuffs and waist. Water repellent finish is also required.
Bidders must be registered with relevant authorities, have valid FBR/NTN registration, and demonstrate prior experience with similar contracts. Bid security and performance guarantees are mandatory. The procurement will follow a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 29th September 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted.
The contract includes inspection of goods at manufacturer premises, warranty for 12 months, and liquidated damages for delayed delivery. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed bidding documents and ensure compliance with all technical and administrative requirements. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory for participation.
