Procurement of Trinocular Microscope for Department of Anatomy at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi

The Bahria University Health Sciences Campus, Karachi (Bahria University) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of a Trinocular Microscope for the Department of Anatomy at its Karachi campus. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the National Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2026. Items being procured: - Trinocular Microscope with Infinity colour-corrected optical system - Trinocular viewing head inclined at 30°, 360° rotatable with adjustable eye-point height - Wide-field plan eyepieces PL 10x/20 mm with reticle and diopter adjustment - Infinity plan achromatic objectives: 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x - Quintuple revolving nosepiece - Double-layer ceramic-coated rackless mechanical stage with dual-slide holder (78 x 51 mm movement range) - Abbe condenser N.A. 1.25 with aperture diaphragm and phase-contrast/dark-field accessories provision - 3W LED illumination with continuous intensity control, brightness memory, energy-saving mode - Power supply 220V - Integrated digital camera at least 12 MP with minimum resolution 4000 x 3000 pixels - Camera outputs/connectivity: USB, HDMI, Ethernet, 5 GHz Wi-Fi - Imaging software compatible with Windows, Android, iOS - Compatible 55-inch Smart LED/LCD display - Complete with all required adapters, cables, accessories, installation and demonstration - Minimum one-year warranty from installation date The technical scope requires supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the microscope at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi. Bidders must be registered active taxpayers with NTN, GST/SST where applicable, and have at least two years of relevant experience. Authorization from manufacturers and satisfactory performance certificates from two recognized public or private institutes in Pakistan are mandatory. A bid security of Rs. 29,500 in the form of a pay order is required. The delivery and installation period is 60 days from the date of purchase order. Retention money of 5% of the purchase order amount will be withheld as performance guarantee for one year. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 portal before the deadline of Monday, November 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM PKT. Original bid security must be submitted physically at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi before the deadline. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM.
