Tender Description
The National University of Technology (NUTECH) in Islamabad invites sealed bids for the procurement of UPS Batteries under contract reference P155148 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to support the university's operational needs with high-quality UPS batteries to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical equipment.
Items being procured:
- UPS Lead Acid Batteries (Type: VRLA AGM Sealed Lead Acid Dry Battery)
- Nominal Voltage: 12 Volts DC
- Capacity: 9Ah @ 20-hour rate
- Number of Cells: 6
- Maximum Charging Current: ≤ 2.7 A
- Weight: 2.5–2.7 kg
- Terminal Type: F2
- Self-discharge: ≤3% per month at 25°C
- Manufacturing Date: Not older than 6 months
- Warranty: Minimum 1 year

The batteries must be brand new, sealed, and accompanied by test reports at delivery. Delivery is to be made within 15 days to the SCM Office, 2nd Floor Adm Block, NUTECH University, Sector I-12, Islamabad. Bidders must be registered on the EPADS v2.0 platform and submit bids electronically. Original bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt amounting to Rs. 100,000/- must be submitted physically before the bid submission deadline.
