Tender Description
The Directorate General Procurement Army in Rawalpindi is inviting bids for the procurement of indigenous wheat from various Crop Field Markets (CFMs) across Pakistan. This tender is a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in agricultural commodities to engage with a major government department. The procurement covers multiple lots of wheat sourced from different CFMs including Sahiwal, Quetta, Gujranwala, Sukkur, and Attock, among others.
Items being procured:
- Wheat Indigenous ex CFM-5 (Sahiwal) 12500 Tons
- Wheat Indigenous ex CFM-6 (Quetta) 7900 M/Tons
- Wheat Indigenous ex CFM-7 (Gujranwala) 17800 M/Tons
- Wheat Indigenous ex CFM-2 (Sukkur) 9200 M/Tons
- Wheat Indigenous ex CFM-3 (Sahiwal) 13800 M/Tons
- Wheat Indigenous ex CFM-4 (Attock) 18800 M/Tons
The technical scope involves the supply of high-quality indigenous wheat meeting the specified standards for quantity and delivery timelines. The delivery period for the Sahiwal lot is from 5 January to 5 June 2027, with similar timelines for other lots. Suppliers must ensure compliance with quality parameters and timely delivery to designated locations.
Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration relevant to agricultural goods supply, active FBR registration, and proven experience in large-scale commodity supply contracts. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must be submitted as per tender requirements. The technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately to ensure transparency and fairness.
The last date for collection of tender documents is 19 October 2026, with submission deadline on 20 October 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bidders should prepare their submissions carefully, ensuring all required documents and samples (if any) are included. The tender opening will be conducted on the same day at the specified time.
A practical tip for bidders is to verify the exact specifications and delivery schedules for each CFM lot and prepare logistics accordingly. Early coordination with transporters and storage facilities can prevent delays and enhance bid competitiveness. Attention to detail in the bid documents, especially in financial proposals, will improve chances of success.
