Project Study and Assessment of Transmission and Distribution Technical Losses for Hyderabad Electric Supply Company

Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) is inviting international consultancy firms or consortiums to submit proposals for a comprehensive project study and assessment of transmission and distribution (T&D) technical losses. This tender is specifically for firms registered on EPADS with a valid Pakistan Engineering Council License for the 2026-2027 period in the relevant category. The procurement is managed by the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company based in Hyderabad, Sindh. Items being procured: - Project Study and Assessment of Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Technical Losses The scope involves detailed technical evaluation of electrical transmission and distribution losses within HESCO’s network. The consultant will be expected to provide an in-depth analysis and recommendations to reduce technical losses, improving efficiency and reliability of power supply. The project requires expertise in electrical engineering, power systems, and loss assessment methodologies. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026-2027, hold Provincial Sales Tax (PST) registration in Sindh, and be listed on the Federal Board of Revenue’s Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Firms must be registered on EPADS and able to submit bids electronically through the E-PADS platform. Manual bids will not be accepted. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 2026-08-18 at 11:00 AM at the office of Chief Engineer (P&E), HESCO, Room No.220, 2nd Floor, WAPDA Offices Complex, Hussainabad, Hyderabad. Bids must be submitted electronically by the closing date 2026-08-25 before 23:59:59. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, favoring CEO HESCO Hyderabad.
