The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA) invites sealed bids from active taxpayers of manufacturers, firms, companies, distributors, and suppliers registered with relevant tax authorities for the procurement of Tablet Chairs. This tender is specifically for the Provide & Supply of Tablet Chairs to be delivered at IBA Main Campus, University Enclave, Karachi. Items being procured: - Tablet Chair (Mobile Seating) with PP material and cushion - Height: 875 mm, Seat Height: 450 mm - Width: 625 mm, Depth: 650 mm - Writing Tablet: 500 × 400 mm, integrated right/left-hand writing tablet - Mobile design with integrated caster base for easy movement and reconfiguration - Ergonomically contoured seat and backrest for comfortable prolonged sitting - High-quality molded polymer/plastic outer shell with upholstered seat cushion - Durable fabric upholstery over high-density molded foam - Durable molded tablet with smooth, scratch-resistant surface - Rotating heavy-duty metal support mechanism with secure locking - Heavy-duty molded polymer base with integrated storage/book rack - Five smooth-rolling caster wheels suitable for smooth indoor flooring - Stable base design to prevent tipping during normal use - Swivel mechanism allowing convenient user movement - Weight holding capacity: maximum 120 Kg - One year comprehensive warranty The technical scope includes delivery and installation of high-quality tablet chairs meeting the specifications listed above. The site visit is mandatory on September 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at IBA Main Campus, Karachi. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have relevant experience of at least three years, minimum annual turnover of PKR 8 million, active NTN and Sales Tax registration, and valid certifications such as ANSI/SGS/BIFMA. Earnest Money (Bid Security) of PKR 80,000 in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of Institute of Business Administration, Karachi is required. The tender fee is Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable). Bids must be submitted/uploaded on the SPPRA EPADS portal by October 09, 2026, 03:00 PM. The original bid security and signed bid documents must be delivered to the Tender Box at Security Office, Gate #4, IBA Main Campus, Karachi before the deadline. Bids will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM in the presence of bidders' representatives. Payment will be made within 30 working days after complete delivery and invoice submission. Delivery time is 60 days from Letter of Intent. Performance security of 5% of contract value is required. Liquidated damages of 2% per month up to 10% of contract value apply for delays. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required supporting documents are uploaded on the EPADS portal and the original bid security is physically delivered before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
