Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Shaheed Benazirabad invites e-bids through the EPADS portal for the comprehensive sewerage improvement works in Nawabshah City, Sindh. The procurement covers providing, laying, jointing, and testing RCC sewer lines along with the provision of paver blocks in various colonies under the scheme Improvement of Sewerage of Nawabshah City. The works are divided into six parts, each with an estimated cost ranging from approximately Rs. 29,971,000 to Rs. 39,981,000, with a completion period of 24 months per part. Items being procured:
- Providing, laying, jointing & testing RCC sewer lines
- Providing paver blocks in various colonies
The technical scope includes excavation in soft and wet soil, concrete works, pipe laying with ASTM C-76 RCC pipes of various diameters (12", 15", 18"), catch pits, de-silting of underground sewers, and related civil works. The site is located at Nawabshah City, District Shaheed Benazirabad. Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2026-27 in relevant categories CE-09 & CE-10, except for works costing up to 4 million PKR. Registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board with active status is mandatory. Bidders must submit a bid security of 5% of the bid cost in the form of Call Deposit, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank in favor of the Executive Engineer (Dev.) Public Health Engineering Division Shaheed Benazirabad. The bid price must include all applicable government taxes. The bid validity period is 90 days. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer (Dev.) Public Health Engineering Division Shaheed Benazirabad located at Jam Sahib Road Nawabshah or downloaded from https://portalsindh.edprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS portal before 11:00 AM on 11-09-2026 and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. In case of government holidays, the schedule will be adjusted accordingly. A detailed list of machinery, technical staff qualifications, and past performance is required. One practical tip for bidders: Ensure all pages of the technical proposal are paginated sequentially and all mandatory documents including ISO certificates and affidavits on E-Stamp Paper are submitted to avoid disqualification.
