Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy, through its Military Engineering Services office CMES (N) Compak at PNS Karsaz, Karachi, invites sealed tenders for important construction and repair works in compliance with PPRA Rule 13 (1) of 2004. The scope includes provision, installation, and construction of certain facilities at Karachi and NAS Turbat, as well as abnormal repair, replacement, major and minor maintenance works at both Karachi and Turbat locations.
Items being procured:
- Provision / installation / construction of certain facility at Karachi
- Provision / installation / construction of certain facility at NAS Turbat
- Abnormal repair / replacement / major / maintenance / minor works at Karachi
- Abnormal repair / replacement / major / maintenance / minor works at NAS Turbat
Contractors are required to submit applications for issuance of tender documents along with complete credentials. Only firms with sufficient experience in the relevant field and meeting special conditions will be issued tender documents. Contractors must provide certificates confirming no litigation with government departments and no outstanding issues with the Directorate of Inspection and Evaluation (E-in-C's Branch GHQ).
All contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit proof of registration. Only contractors on the approved MES list in categories A, B, C, or D with relevant experience may apply. Contractors may attend the tender opening. The accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender as per PPRA rules.
Interested parties can contact CMES (Navy) Compak at PNS Karsaz or authorized representatives from 0800 to 1400 hours on working days for further details. The tender submission deadline is 18 September 2026 by 1130 hours, with opening at 1200 hours the same day.
Bidders should ensure their applications are complete and submitted timely. It is advisable to verify PEC registration and prepare earnest money or bid security as per tender requirements to avoid disqualification.
