Tender Description
The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) in Rawalpindi is inviting sealed bids for the purchase of exam stationery and OMR sheets. This procurement is aimed at acquiring essential stationery items required for examination purposes. The department responsible for this tender is the Procurement Directorate of NUMS, located at The Mall, Abid Majeed Road, Rawalpindi.
Items being procured:
- Exam Stationery
- OMR Sheets
Bidders must provide samples of stationery items and OMR sheets during the tender opening for evaluation. The technical scope includes supplying quality stationery materials suitable for examination use, ensuring compliance with detailed specifications provided in the bidding documents. The procurement process follows the Single Stage - Two Envelopes method, requiring separate submission of technical and financial proposals.
Eligibility criteria include a minimum of two years relevant experience in supplying stationery and OMR sheets to public or private sector organizations. Bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities and listed on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for GST and Income Tax. A bid security equivalent to 2% of the total bid value is required in the form of Call Deposit or Bank Draft in favor of NUMS.
Bidding documents can be obtained upon submission of a non-refundable Pay Order/Demand Draft of PKR 3,000 in favor of NUMS during working hours. The last date for bid submission is Thursday, 13th August 2026 by 0930 hours. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at or after 1000 hours in the Conference Room, NUMS (ATR), Adyala Road, Rawalpindi, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Late, incomplete, or emailed/faxed bids will not be entertained.
The bidding process is conducted through PPRA E-PADS, and bidders must ensure registration on the EPADS portal for participation. NUMS reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope or quantities and to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with PPRA Rules, 2004.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that samples of stationery and OMR sheets are prepared and submitted carefully with the technical bid, as these samples are critical for the evaluation process and can significantly impact the technical qualification of the bid.
