Purchase of High Speed Document Scanners for On-Screen Marking

The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Faisalabad invites bids for the purchase of different kinds of I.T items specifically high speed document scanners for on-screen marking. This corrigendum updates the previous tender notice No.269/SS dated 01-09-2026 and extends the last date of submission to 10-10-2026 till 11:00 a.m. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 a.m on Punjab E-Procurement System (eP) in the presence of purchase committee and representatives of the firms. Items being procured: - Lot No.02-High Speed Document Scanners The high speed document scanners must have a throughput speed of 130-140 PPM at 300 dpi on colour and black & white with barcode scanning (equivalent or above). Document feeding capacity and connectivity should be 500 sheets or above with USB 2.0/3.0 or higher. The daily duty cycle is 55,000 sheets per day (equivalent or above). The bidder will be responsible for consumables for 15 million scans with the scanner and provide a 3-year warranty, whichever comes first. The country of origin should be USA, Europe, or Japan (equivalent or above). The paper path should be U turn/straight paper path for bulk scanning (equivalent or above). Document thickness should support a maximum of 250 gsm or above for educational certificates and hard documents (equivalent or above). The operator control panel must be a touch screen/control panel to monitor multi-feeds on the PC and quickly choose to ignore, accept or rescan images from the scanner control panel (equivalent or above). Eligibility criteria include compliance with technical specifications and submission through Punjab E-Procurement System. Earnest money and other terms remain as per original tender documents. The submission deadline is strictly 10-10-2026 at 11:00 a.m. Bidders should ensure timely submission and compliance with all terms to avoid disqualification.
