Tender Description
The Schcool of Natural Sciences-NUST (National University of Science & Technology (NUST)) located at Professor H-12, Islamabad Capital Territory, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of a High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) for XRD equipment under contract reference P116419. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS) (Spellman) Part No.: X4596, Model: DF60N3X4595, Quantity: 1 unit
The HVPS must conform to the technical specifications provided, including origin from Spellman (USA). Related repair and maintenance services are also included. Bidders must be registered with FBR for sales and income tax, active on the tax payer list, and not blacklisted or under litigation. Bid security in the form of a Pay Order equal to 5% of the total quoted value is mandatory. Bids must be valid for at least 120 days and submitted exclusively through EPADS v2.0 by the deadline.
The delivery, installation, and commissioning period is 12 weeks from the date of purchase order. Performance guarantee equal to 5% of the contract value will be retained and released after the warranty period. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and submit all required documents and declarations. Technical and financial bids will be opened online on September 24, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
One practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 platform, as manual submissions are not accepted and late bids will be disqualified. Also, provide clear and complete documentation to avoid rejection due to ambiguity or incompleteness.
For any clarifications, bidders may contact the SNS NUST via email at shehzad.nust@gmail.com or phone +92-331-596-6869. The official website for bid submission and document access is https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/116419.
