Tender Description
The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Rawalpindi is procuring IT equipment and tablets specifically for the NOMES Exam at KHINAMS. This procurement is focused on supplying high-quality IT devices including 300 tablets with advanced specifications, tablet trolleys for secure storage and movement, and Synology NAS/SAN servers for data storage and management. The procurement is based in Rawalpindi and is managed by the NUMS Procurement Directorate.
The technical scope includes supplying tablets with specific processor, memory, storage, display, and operating system features. The tablets trolley must be heavy-duty with lockable doors and ventilation. The NAS/SAN servers require installation, configuration, RAID setup, and operational testing. Vendors must ensure full functionality and provide training if requested. All items must be brand new, with manufacturer warranties and proper documentation including CE, ISO certificates, and manufacturer authorization.
Eligibility criteria require suppliers to be registered with relevant authorities including FBR and have valid NTN and STRN. Joint ventures are allowed with a lead member nominated. Bid security of 2% of total bid cost in CDR/DD/Pay order is mandatory. Experience in supplying similar IT equipment is preferred. Bidders must submit complete technical and financial bids on official letterhead and comply with all tender conditions.
The last date for submission is 30th June 2026 by 10:30 hours at the NUMS office in Rawalpindi. Bids will be publicly opened the same day at 11:00 hours in the Conference Room, NUMS (ATR), Adiyala Road. Bidders should ensure all documents are signed, stamped, and properly organized. Delivery of all items must be completed within 4 weeks for local and 8 weeks for imported items after award. Payment will be made after satisfactory delivery and installation.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid with all mandatory certificates and ensure the bid security is attached as per instructions.
