Tender Description
The Deputy Conservator of Forests Sahiwal Forest Division invites tenders for the purchase of various plants under the replenishment cost scheme for the fiscal year 2026-2027. The procurement covers planting along DM Road from Km 06 to 50, specifically at Medina 42 Av.KM and Left Right Side 36 Av. KM. This tender is open to sales tax and income tax registered firms (active taxpayers).
Items being procured:
- Amaltas, Lagerstroemia, Kachnar, Tabebuia (pink flower), Techoma, Bottle Brush, Terminalia and other miscellaneous ornamental shady flowering shrubs/trees (17,325 plants)
- Ground Cover (Sapra Grass, Silvery, Lal Jhari, Euphorbia, Lal Patti, Duranta, Fiscus species and other miscellaneous species) (14,805 plants)
- Budha Tree, Bakain, Gul-e-mohar, Ashok Straight, Gul-e-nishtar, Jacoranda (Neelam), Neem, Peepal, Pilkan, Banian (Bohar) and other miscellaneous ornamental shady flowering trees/shrubs (14,850 plants)
- Ground Cover (Sapra Grass, Silvery, Lal Jhari, Euphorbia, Lal Patti, Duranta, Fiscus species and other miscellaneous species) (13,395 plants)
The total quantity planned is 32,130 plants for the first lot and 29,070 plants for the roadside/LRS lot, with detailed specifications including plant height and pot size. The average rates and total amounts are specified for each category.
Bidders must submit a 5% bid security online through a bank in favor of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Sahiwal, quoting rates against relevant items on the official website. Online submission must be completed at least 30 minutes before the tender opening. Alternatively, the security deposit can be submitted to the Tender Opening Committee on the same day, at least 30 minutes before bid opening. Failure to submit the security deposit on time will lead to disqualification.
The tender opening will be held on 10-09-2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Sahiwal, where bidders or their authorized representatives may attend. The tender follows a single stage, single envelope procedure as per PPRA Rules 2014 Section 38(1). The contractor will supply items at Tehsil & District Vehari as directed.
Firms must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments for the year 2026-2027 and must not be blacklisted by any agency. The department reserves the right to reject any bid or proposal at any time prior to acceptance. The payment will be made after proper analysis of material quality by special committees.
