Reclamation of 50-KVA Damaged Distribution Transformers (Repairable) for Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO)

The Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites bids for the reclamation of 50-KVA damaged distribution transformers (repairable) under Tender No. 1396/26 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement covers the repair and reclamation of damaged 50-KVA distribution transformers including free lifting from SEPCO designated stores at Regional Store Rohri and Larkana, transportation to the contractor's approved workshop, complete dismantling, repair or replacement of defective components, rewinding, replacement of transformer oil, drying, reassembly, routine testing as per NTDC approved specifications DDS-84:2007 (Amendment No.4) and DDS-84:2020 (Amendment No.5), inspection and acceptance by SEPCO, and free delivery of reclaimed transformers back to the designated consignee stores. Items being procured: - 180 Nos. Damaged Distribution Transformer 50 KVA (With Amendment No.4) - 20 Nos. Damaged Distribution Transformer 50 KVA (With Amendment No.5) The contractor shall complete reclamation within 45 days of issuance of release order and deliver accepted transformers within 3 days of inspection. The scope includes all labor, transportation, lifting, loading/unloading, and incidental costs. The transformers shall be reclaimed strictly according to WAPDA/NTDC specifications and standards, with a 12-month warranty including free pick & drop and rectification of warranty failures within 30 days. Eligibility requires PEC category M-1 prequalification, FBR registration, ATL listing, and prior experience of at least two transformer reclamation contracts. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 28 September 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening the same day at 11:15 AM. Bid security of Rs. 800,000 in specified forms is mandatory. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated on a least cost basis after deducting credit for dismantled materials. The contract period is one year with possible extension. Liquidated damages of 2% per month up to 10% apply for delays.
