Reconduction of 132 kV Transmission Line Choa Saiden Shah to Dandot under IESCO Multiyear Tariff

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the reconductoring of the 132 kV Transmission Line from Choa Saiden Shah to Dandot under the IESCO Multiyear Tariff for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Installation of tower foundations including excavation, dewatering, stub setting, leveling, slope protection, and grounding sets for Tower type ZM1 foundation 20º (20 units) and 10º (4 units) - Transportation from IESCO regional store and installation of 220/132 kV double circuit towers with accessories including U-Bolts, V-Shackles, number plates, danger signs, phase plates, anti-climbing devices, barbed wire, and electric welding (6 basic bodies and 8 leg extensions) - Stringing and sagging of 03 No. ACCC Greely conductors (13.04 km) - Stringing of 1 No. galvanized steel wire 9mm dia (1.2 km) - Dismantling of existing ZM-1 towers without stubs (3016 kg) - Dismantling of existing lynx conductor with accessories (29,645.136 kg ACSR scrap) - Environmental monitoring and mitigation including water quality, air quality, noise quality, wastewater monitoring, social mitigation measures, and site restoration The scope includes construction of tower foundations, erection, stringing, and transportation of materials from IESCO Regional Store at New Wah. The project duration is 270 days after signing the contract agreement. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration for 2026-27 with Category C-6 specialization codes CE-10 & EE-05, FBR registration, and experience in construction of 132 kV or higher voltage transmission lines. Bidders must demonstrate financial capacity with an average annual turnover of Rs. 19.8 million and net worth of Rs. 13.2 million, along with successful completion of at least two contracts of similar nature within the last ten years.
