Rehabilitation and Construction of Capital Road in Sialkot

Municipal Corporation Sialkot invites electronic bids from eligible contractors/firms through the Punjab e-Procurement System for the rehabilitation and construction of Capital Road in Sialkot. This development work requires contractors/firms to be duly enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 and to fulfill all eligibility requirements as prescribed in the bidding documents. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation and Construction of Capital Road The procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended) through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bidders must submit their bids electronically on or before 03-10-2026 at 11:00 AM. The bids will be opened electronically on the same day at 1:30 PM in the office of the Municipal Corporation Sialkot in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted through a Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft will not be accepted. Bids without a valid Digital Bank Guarantee will be rejected. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Security equal to 5% of the contract price through SWIFT MT760. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration for the relevant category, FBR registration, and compliance with all bidding document requirements. Bids must remain valid for 60 days from the date of opening. The Municipal Corporation Sialkot reserves the right to reject any or all bids before acceptance as per Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 65.000 Million with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 3.250 Million.
