Rehabilitation and Construction of Additional Classrooms and Provision of Missing Facilities in 6 Schools in Taluka Mithi, Islamkot & Diplo, District Tharparkar

The Education Works Division Tharparkar @ Mithi invites bids for the rehabilitation and construction of additional classrooms and provision of missing facilities in six existing primary, elementary, and higher secondary schools located in Taluka Mithi, Islamkot, and Diplo within District Tharparkar. This project supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG#4) and is funded under ADP No. 482 of 2026-27 at GBELS Sadhwani Colony. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation and construction of additional classrooms - Provision of missing facilities in existing schools (6 units) - Civil works including dismantling, excavation, brickwork, RCC work, plastering, painting, roofing, and sanitary fittings - Water supply and sanitary fittings including installation of WC pans, lavatory basins, valves, bib cocks, UPVC piping, and water pumping set The technical scope covers comprehensive civil works such as dismantling of brickwork and roofing, excavation, concrete and brick masonry, reinforcement fabrication, finishing works including plastering and painting, and installation of water supply and sanitary fixtures. The project requires adherence to the specifications and standards outlined in the bidding documents. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category, possess valid NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, and provide all mandatory documents including bid security of 5% of the estimated cost. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience, technical capacity, and financial capability as per the detailed evaluation criteria. The contract duration is 12 months from the commencement date. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Earnest money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) amounting to 5% of the bid price is mandatory. Performance security of 10% will be required from the successful bidder.
