The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites bids for the rehabilitation work of the Control House Building and Switch Yard at the 132 KV Grid Station Haripur located in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Items being procured: - Excavation in shingle or gravel formation & rock not requiring blasting (241.15 Cum) - Cement Concrete Plain using sand, crush including placing and compacting (64.21 Cum) - RCC work using coarse sand including shuttering and finishing (204.357 Cum) - Steel reinforcement bars cutting, bending, laying (17599.857 Kg) - Filling, watering and ramming earth under floor (79.5795 Cum) - Supply and filling sand under floor (63.99 Cum) - Cement concrete plain using coarse sand (18.3 Cum) - Dispersing into 3-coat over new surface including primary off white colour finishing (481.74053 Sqm) - Paint work including plastic emulsion paint and shield paint (590.1587 Sqm total) - RCC pre-stressed trench cover (94.5 Sqm) - Cast iron rain water down pipes and fittings (various sizes and quantities) - Electrical wiring for light, fan points, switches, plugs, distribution board, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, fluorescent tube canopy, earthing set, cable trays, and other electrical accessories - Supply and spreading crushed stone or waterborne gravel (672.23736 Cum) - White washing 3 coats (860 Sqm) - Dismantling of glazed or encaustic tiles (636 Sqm) - Dressing and leveling of earth work (408 Cum) - Plumbing works including jointing and testing of pipes, soil pipes, water closets, wash hand basins, soap dish, looking glass, towel rail, gully traps, and vinyl floor tiles The technical scope includes roof treatment, paint work, electrical wiring, and other related civil works at the site. The contractor must comply with PEC registration category C-6 & above with specialization codes CE-10, CE-09, EE-11, and demonstrate at least five years of construction experience. The bidder must have completed at least two civil contracts of similar nature and scope within the last five years, each not less than 50% of the estimated cost. Key dates include the bid closing on August 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM with bid opening at 12:30 PM on the same day. Submission is strictly through EPADS v2.0 with manual bid security submission at the 66 KV Grid Station, Murre Road, Abbottabad. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submission of all required documents including bid security in original form to avoid disqualification. Also, bidders quoting 10% below the engineer's estimate must submit an additional 2% bid security. This tender requires a bid security of 3% of the estimated cost in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price in the form of a bank guarantee. The contract duration is 60 days from the start date, with a defects liability period of 365 days. Liquidated damages are set at 0.06% per day up to a maximum of 10% of the contract price.
