Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Jhal Magsi, Balochistan, through the Irrigation Division for rehabilitation of flood protection bunds under the PSDP initiative. The project focuses on two key flood protection bunds: one at Mula and another at Jhal Magsi Town, with estimated costs of PKR 60 million and PKR 40 million respectively.
The work involves civil engineering tasks to restore and strengthen flood protection structures using composite schedule rates 2023. Contractors must consider local soil conditions, water flow dynamics, and seasonal flood risks to ensure durable bunds. The site is located in a flood-prone district requiring specialized irrigation expertise and robust construction materials to withstand future flood events.
Bidders must hold valid PEC registration with specialization in irrigation and meet the 2025-26 criteria. They should have completed at least three similar projects in the last five years with an average turnover of 70% of the project cost. Active registration with FBR and Balochistan Revenue Authority is mandatory. Bid security of 2% of the project cost must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank.
The submission deadline is set for 17th February 2026 before midnight, with technical bids opening at 1:00 PM the same day via the EPPS system. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Irrigation Division office at Irrigation Quarter, Gandawah Bypass Road, Jhal Magsi. Only authorized representatives with proper authorization letters on non-judicial stamp paper will be allowed.
